La Salle University 2024 Move-In Day Activities - August 21 and 22

Philadelphia, PA (08/19/2024) — La Salle University will welcome students and their families over the course of two days for Move-In and Explorientation student orientation.

President Daniel J. Allen, Ph.D., will welcome 500-plus new students during the morning move in on Wednesday, Aug. 21.

On Thursday, Aug. 22, first-year students will participate in the First Expedition Walk from Hayman Hall to DeVincent Field beginning at 2 p.m. The procession will lead into a welcome convocation event.

The first day of classes is Monday, Aug. 26.

New Student Move-In

WHEN: Wednesday, Aug. 21, from 2-3:30 p.m. for Move In

WHERE: St. Basil Court residence hall (Enter campus using the driveway off Lindley Avenue, located between Ogontz and Belfield Avenues. Multiple parking lots are available to accommodate visitors.)

INTERVIEWS: President Daniel J. Allen, Ph.D., and Dr. Gabrielle St. Leger, Vice President of Student Development and Campus Life, will be available for interviews from 2-3:30 p.m.

First Expedition Walk

WHEN: Thursday, Aug. 22, from 2-3 p.m.

WHERE: A procession of new students led by the 76ers drumline and University leadership will begin at Hayman Hall and end at DeVincent Field on Main Campus.
