La Salle University inducts latest class into Sigma Theta Tau Nursing Honor Society

La Salle University inducted its latest class into the Kappa Delta Chapter of the Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing on Oct. 17, 2025. The 32 students and a faculty member are all from La Salle's School of Nursing and Health Sciences. Founded in 1922 by six nursing students, Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing (Sigma) has more than 100,000 active members and 600 chapters at institutions of higher education and healthcare partners from around the world. Sigma members include clinical nurses and administrators, academic nurse educators and researchers, policymakers, entrepreneurs, and others working to fulfill the organization's vision of connected, empowered nurse leaders transforming global healthcare. The La Salle Kappa Delta Chapter was started in April 1988 as the organization's 242nd chapter.

La Salle University welcomed largest undergraduate class since before the pandemic

The University welcomed nearly 700 new first-time, full-time students this fall, representing a 40% increase over last year. La Salle also enrolled 150 new transfer students, an increase of nearly 60% from the prior year.

La Salle University welcomed its largest undergraduate class in four years to begin the 2024-25 academic year. The 600-plus new and transfer students that represented a 23% increase over the previous year.
